Many years ago, the Wheaton-Glen Ellyn AAUW Branch had a robust Great Decisions Interest Group.  The W-GE AAUW Board has approved reestablishing this discussion group!  The Foreign Policy Association annually publishes the Great Decisions Briefing Book to prepare readers to discuss world affairs.  The booklet provides an insightful and pithy analysis of eight topics (8-12 pages each) of current significance.  The booklet is $35.00 and becomes available in January, with pre-order discounts offered in October for the coming year (www.fpa.org).

Due to the overwhelming response for the Great Decisions Discussion Group, there will be three groups, which will meet the same week.  Group 1 will meet on the first Thursday of the month, and Groups 2 and 3 will meet the preceding Tuesday.  The exception will be January, as the booklets are scheduled to be delivered sometime in January and will not arrive in time for a first Thursday meeting.  Members involved in the groups will receive individual emails regarding details of the meetings.   If you are interested in joining a discussion group, please click here .
