  • Where is Westfield School? The school is south of Roosevelt Road and east of Route 53. From Route 53, go east on 22nd Street (the Butterfield West subdivision) to Mayfield Lane. Turn right (south), go past the tot lot and you are there.

  • When can we drop off book donations?   May 1 – May 31!   If you have a large donation, click here to send us an email or call Carolyn at (630) 469-9382.
  • Where can we drop off book donations?   We have SEVEN drop-off sites! Click here for a flyer that lists all of the sites.

    •   Glen Ellyn:
      • Health Track, 875 East Roosevelt Road

      • Sunset Knoll Rec Center, 820 South Finley Road
    •   Villa Park
      • Cornerstone Used Bookstore, 22 South Villa Avenue
  • When can we help with the sorting? Members can help sort the book donations in the week before the sale, 6/11 through 6/18. More information will be sent to you in Twigs and by email.
  • How can I help publicize the sale?
    • Contact your neighbors and friends to let them know how to donate books.
    • Our Book Sale flyers are now available!  Please distribute them to your friends and neighbors so that they know the sale dates and location. It also includes the list of all donation sites.  Click here for the flyer.
    • “Like” the Wheaton-Glen Ellyn AAUW Used Book Sale on Facebook.
    • Volunteer to post a Book Sale sign in your yard.
  • What do we do with proceeds from the sale? The AAUW Wheaton-Glen Ellyn Branch, NFP is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Book Sale proceeds are used to fund local scholarships and for annual contributions to one or more of the mission-based funds administered by national AAUW. (The AAUW mission is to advance gender equity through research, education and advocacy.)
